the models
I specialize in building classic sailing ships, although
I can also produce motor boats and more modern or current
sailing boats. I can make models of boats which have
come off the drawing boards of such world famous designers
as Olin Stephens, William Fife, Starling Burgess, John
Alden, Nat Herreshoff, or international 5.5 metre, 6
metre, 8 metre, West Solent, Dragon, (Grumete), as well
as a large variety of different designs.
Being a subscriber to a variety of specialist
publications such as Wooden Boat, Classic Boat, Maritime
Life and Traditions, and also owning a large number
of old back numbers of Yachting, The Rudder, and Yachting
Monthly which my father used to collect, I have access
to a very large selection of plans, photographs and
texts, which allow me to undertake a high level of detail,
as can be seen on some of the photos appearing on this
website.
